Diversion Safes -- Help People Avoid Temptation

Let’s face it – people are curious and open to temptation. They are generally honest but when there is money or valuables available and no one’s looking…

Well, a Diversion Safe looks just like an everyday item that we would see in any household but these devices have a hollowed out center for your valuables – money, watch, keys, jewelry, notes to your kids, bill receipts (how many times have these been misplaced), and anything else you can think of.

Put these valuables in a variety of Diversion Safes and spread them throughout your house, garage or office. Just make sure they blend in with room. Even a dopey burglar might get suspicious if he saw a can of JB Oil next to a salt shaker or a Kibbles ‘n Bits Can Safe next to your toothbrush.

Burglars like to quickly get in and out with their loot. So, the object is to leave our valuables in plain sight but still be hidden. This is where Diversion Safes fit the bill.

Diversion Safes are just regular items that the burglar would see in any house, including his own. So why would he suspect that a Barbasol Shaving Cream Can would hold some jewelry? Or, in the garage, what about hiding your emergency house money in a Liquid Wrench Can Safe and put it with all the other cans on the garage shelf?

Not only burglars (who are bad guys by trade) are interested in your valuables – even neighbors and friends may get tempted when you leave your money out in plain sight.

Remember the TV commercial about the lady who opens the medicine cabinet door and all the shelves collapsed? Why did she even open the cabinet? She’s probably an honest lady – she was just curious, right?

Scenario 1: You had left a $20 bill on the kitchen table this morning for your teenage son. This afternoon he had some friends over for pizza and to watch the ballgame. That night the money was gone. Obviously your son used it to pay for the pizza, right? But he says they all chipped in and paid. What happened to the $20 bill?

Scenario 2: same as above but this time you put the $20 in a Flower Pot Diversion Safe and left it on the kitchen table. This time your son asks for money to pay the pizza guy and at the end of the day your money is still in the Flower Pot Safe.

Here are just a few different types of people who can rob you of your possessions because generally they’re left alone in your house for a time. We will consider them all honest people but still, some may still be tempted. But remember, the longer these people are in your house, the more temptation there might be:

-           Your Kids’ Friends
-           Nanny-
-           Trade People (plumbers, carpenters)
-           TV repair or meter-reading people
-           Nurses, medical people
-           Delivery men
-           Even dogs, believe it or not – for some dogs, anything left on the table is theirs as far as
            they are concerned!
-           And don’t forget people coming to your house asking to use your phone or some
            other favor – yes there are still people doing this
-           Your Family and Friends

Now I know you may not want to admit that relatives and friends might be tempted. You may say “My friends and family – Never!”

Maybe you’re right but think about the last few parties you held for family and friends – was there ever anything missing after the party was over? Maybe you didn’t notice it missing for a while but what did become of your watch that was on the living room table during the party…

Don’t help the burglar and don’t become a crime statistic. Hide your money and valuables in Diversion Safes and place them throughout your house or office to blend in so that a burglar would never suspect what they hold.
